Left Behind: awareness memoriam installation A solo chronicling just one instance of a life lived and left. Dedicated to those left behind after a loved one completes suicide. This exhibition was on display during the week of 09/23/2022. This date coincides with and honors both Military Suicide Awareness Month and what would have been our 22nd wedding anniversary. That Simple Sound A scaled up reconstruction of my husband's last moments in this plane of existence. Most of which was revealed in the dark with sound, texture, and light all focusing on the distinct, unmistakable sound when you open a plastic trash bag. Video fails to capture the essence of this installation.	That Simple Sound That simple sound, taken for granted by the living, reminds me every time. of a Life literally thrown away, trashed. That simple sound, snap snap. bag opened, insert Life, just to extinguish it.
